Please ensure that there is enough space for the equipment. Bouncy Castles need an additional 4ft gap in front of the castle for access and a 4ft gap behind the the castle for the blower, a 2ft gap is also required on both sides.
On the day of the booking please ensure that there is clear access to the site and there are no obstructions/ hazzards including stones, overhanging tree branches, sharp bushes, broken glass, animal excrement etc.
Hire of equipment is on a daily basis with delivery to homes normally between 8am and 12 noon and collection from 5pm. Delivery to indoor venues such as village halls / clubs / play centres can be specially arranged with times agreed on booking. Adult hire times are specially arranged and agreed beforehand.
Full payment required at the begining of the hire period.
No cancellation fee is charged if the booking is cancelled before we set off to deliver the inflatable, after this payment must be made in full. No refund will be made even in the event of bad weather or unsuitability of hire.
At all times the equipment is the property of Mendip Bouncy Castles and they reserve the right to collect the equipment at any time they feel neccessary either in the event, or expectation, of poor weather or any other reason they produce.
Mendip Bouncy Castles may cancel any booking at any time without prior notice.
In the unlikely event that Mendip Bouncy Castles cannot deliver the equipment due to events beyond their control then they will not be held responsible for any liabilities that this may cause.
Children MUST be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, when on or around our equipment.
Footwear, spectacles, dangerous objects such as pens, buckles, purses etc MUST be removed.
Party poppers, face paint, silly string, hair dye, spray foam, washing up liquid and any other liquids must not be used on the inflatable. (These substances cause permanent damage to the inflatable and the cost of this damage will be charged to the hirer).
No food or drink is allowed on the inflatable & No smoking or barbecues near the bouncy castle.
No pets to be allowed on or near the bouncy castle, No signs to be glued, taped or hung on the castle.
Do not allow users to bounce on the front step or allow users to climb or hang of the walls.
No somersaults or other manoeuvres that may risk causing damage to the persons head/ neck/ back or any other part of any person's body are allowed on the inflatable.
Only children of similar size should use the castle at the same time.
The inflatable must NEVER be deflated while in use and the anchor points (safety pegs or sand bags) must not be tampered with. In the event of a power failure all users must leave the castle immediately.
Do not allow anyone to be on the bouncy castle during inflation or deflation or whilst deflated.
The bouncy castle must not be used in extreme weather conditions (i.e. high winds / heavy rain etc. In the event all electrical equipment must be turned off from the mains, by a responsible adult.
Any wetness, including bubbling which is normal can be dried with a towel before use, please ensure the vent on the side of the blower is clear at all times.
In the event of the blower over heating or loses power, unplug the blower from the mains and then plug back in and switch on 1-2 minutes later, if this does not rectify the problem contact us immediately on 07824 183 547.
The bouncy castle must be returned in an acceptable condition, i.e. clean, unsoiled and undamaged. If it is badly soiled or damaged the hirer will be expected to pay an additional charge to cover the cleaning costs and our loss of earnings if the castle is rendered out of commission for any reason.
Mendip Bouncy Castles has full public liability insurance however this cover only exists when an employee of Mendip Bouncy Castles is present therefore Mendip Bouncy Castles can take no responsibility or liability once the inflatable has been left in the supervision of the hirer. Mendip Bouncy Castles must also warn the hirer that if any accident occurs from the hirers neglect to supervise then the hirer will be responsible and not Mendip Bouncy Castles.
In the unlikely event of a problem with the hired equipment during the hire period the hirer MUST NOT attempt to fix the problem unless it is minor e.g. the blower detaches from the castle. Instead the hirer should ring Mendip Bouncy Castles on 07824 183 547.
Garden Games must be returned complete & undamaged at the end of the hire period, any cost of repairs or replacements will be charged to the hirer.

The person/ organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible /liable for any damage or injury occuring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.
These guidlines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Mendip Bouncy Castles cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
I have read and understood the above document fully and accept the conditions above. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable and if it is found that adults have used the inflatable I will be liable to pay for a new safety test plus any costs accrued.
