Trying to find ways to raise money for your school, club or charity?
Have you ever considered organising a sponsored bounce?
What is that? Well a sponsored bounce is an organised event where you hire a bouncy castle and arrange for all the children at your school, club or charity to participate in a challenge to do as many bounces in a timed period (normally 1 minute).
Each child is given a sponsorship form and encouraged to attract/generate as much sponsorship from family, friends, neighbours etc. This can be in done in several ways e.g. an amount per bounce (which is variable) or a fixed amount for taking part and completing the challenge!
They then participate in this fun activity by trying to complete as many bounces in the timed period!
This is normally done in small groups of say 5 at a time bouncing for 1 minute with either teachers or parents counting and recording the total number completed by each child.
Schools tend to bring out one class at a time to make it easier to manage with smaller groups.
Once every child in the class has completed their turn they then go back to lessons and the next class comes out and so forth.
Say you have 100 children at you school and they all on average ONLY raise £10.00 each that equals £1,000.00 and you can normally complete the whole activity within 2 – 3 hours, that’s a pretty good result! Minus of the cost of hiring the inflatable and you still have a fantastic amount for your cause!
You can even incentivise the children several ways with certificates and or small prices for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places for total number of bounces performed and total amount raised.
Ensuring maximum participation and fund generation! Which could result in staggering amounts raised for minimal costs and organisation.
Sports teams i.e junior / infant football & rugby teams have even hired multiple inflatable packages like the Super Slide, Obstacle Course & Supadome bouncy castle for their end of season presentation / fun day for the children to have lots of fun on but organise a sponsored bounce at the same time and use the Supadome bouncy castle to complete this for an hour or two whilst the other kids are still able to use the other inflatables and activities at the same time! Making their event fun with a bit of healthy competition too.
This allows the clubs to generate a large amount money to pay towards the inflatables, medals, food & drink etc for that day as well as other things the clubs are trying to achieve like new equipment, team kits etc.
We have found this really is a fantastic way to raise large amounts of much needed funds whilst having a lot of fun and enjoyment too!
